A container terminal handling Panamax vessels (4,500 TEU) needed to replace 24 cone fender frontal pads after 11 years of service. The original pads were UHMWPE 80 mm thick, 1500 ร 1500 mm, with M20 countersunk mounting holes on a 250 mm grid.
